About us
A proper local garage on Adelaide Road
Our story
Registered since 1985
MODERN MOTORS LIMITED was incorporated at Companies House in July 1985. Today the garage looks after drivers right across Camden – from Belsize Park and Hampstead to Camden Town and Kentish Town – from its workshop at 95 Adelaide Road.
We do the everyday jobs that keep a car safe and legal – MOTs, servicing, tyres, brakes, diagnostics and repairs – for most makes and models. Our customers tell us what they value most: honest prices, friendly people and work they can trust.

How we work
Four things we never compromise on
A price before we start
We diagnose, explain and quote. Extra work only happens once you have said yes.
Fix the cause
We would rather spend ten minutes finding the real fault than sell you parts you did not need.
Plain English
No jargon. We tell you what is urgent, what can wait, and why.
Local and independent
A neighbourhood garage on Adelaide Road, not a franchise or a call centre.
The team
Talk to the people fixing your car
No call centre, no middleman. When we ring you about your car, it is someone who has had their hands on it.
Pop in, call 020 7586 3580 or send us a message.
Credentials
Accreditations, registration & reviews
MOT testing station
MOT tests carried out on site to the DVSA standard, with results recorded on the national MOT database.
